The Cincinnati International Wine Festival celebrates its 23nd year in 2013 and invites you to be a part of it. The Midwest’s largest wine and food festival is proudly sponsored by Kroger, Cincinnati Magazine, Local 12, and 90.9 WGUC. The Grand Tastings will be held at the Duke Energy Convention Center on March 8 & 9, 2013. See you there!
The Cincinnati International Wine Festival attracts more than 6,000 attendees each year from Chicago, Indianapolis, Louisville, Lexington, Columbus, Cleveland and the Cincinnati tri-state area.
A study conducted in 2005 by the University of Cincinnati has this to say about the Wine Festival attendees:
- 93% say they plan to purchase wine they tasted at the Wine Festival.
- 91% say the Cincinnati International Wine Festival is an important influence on their wine purchasing decisions!
- 84% plan to spend more money on wine as a result of the Festival.
The Cincinnati International Wine Festival is the most cost effective way to reach restaurateurs and retailers. The Friday afternoon tasting is exclusive to those in the trade.
The Cincinnati International Wine Festival is host to over 140 premier wineries pouring 600 wines at one trade tasting and 3 consumer tastings.
The Cincinnati International Wine Festival offers a competition featuring wines poured at the festival. Consumers throughout the area use the judging results to help make wine purchasing decisions.
Proceeds from the Cincinnati International Wine Festival provide substantial operating support for local Cincinnati charities.
