Grand Tastings

March 9-10, 2018 at the Duke Energy Convention Center

More than 700 wines from over one hundred wineries are available to sample, while guests enjoy delicious food and a silent auction. The Grand Tastings are truly the centerpiece of the Cincinnati International Wine Festival. New, rare, and exciting wines from around the world are available for tasting. Whether you're a seasoned expert or an intrigued beginner, winemakers and winery representatives welcome you as they mix useful knowledge with exquisite samples of their art.

Each ticket includes unlimited wine tastings and food samplings, and access to the Silent Auction.

Friday and Saturday Evening: 6:30 - 9:00pm  $75 in advance, $80 at the door

Saturday Afternoon: 2:30 - 4:30pm  $65 in advance, $70 at the door

Enjoy 7 tastes of high end wines for one hour only prior to each Grand Tasting. Please arrive early. Only available with the purchase of a Grand Tasting Ticket.

The Wine Education Sessions

New to wine and want to make the most out of your Grand Tasting experience? Join some of the most knowledgeable wine educators in Cincinnati for a one hour education session prior to each Grand Tasting. Please arrive early. Only available with the purchase of a Grand Tasting Ticket.

$20, must purchase tickets in advance (plus Grand Tasting admission)

Friday Evening Session 5:30 - 6:30 pm

Old World vs. New World: " A comparison flight of wines exploring the difference between a grape from its birthplace and its modern interpretation. Discover impacts of terrior and winemaking."

50 Shades of Grape:"A hedonistic guide to the vinous iterations & genetic permutations of wine's most playful varietal: Pinot Noir.  Together we'll experience Blanc de Noir Champagne, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Gris, along with several examples of Pinot Noir from around the globe."
